Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) Central Committee has reached a resolution regarding the status of party members captured during the recent conflict.
Dr. Adisalem Balema and Dr. Abraham Tekesten will remain on the Executive Committee, and Dr. Solomon Kidane, Atsbeha Aregawi, Ms. Kiros Hagos, and Dr. Redai Berhe will remain as Central Committee members.
Keria Ibrahim and Mulu Gebre-Egziabher have been expelled from the Central Committee and TPLF membership for reasons not explicitly stated, but with expressions of regret and promises of future contributions.
Fetlewerk G/Her, Comrade Isaiah Tadesse, and Ms. Almaz Gebretsadik have been elected to form the Organizing Committee for the upcoming 14th Party Congress.
