Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – In his Easter message, Tigray President Getachew Reda urged for peace, love, and unity among the people of Tigray. He emphasized the importance of helping those displaced by conflict and those suffering from drought.
President Reda highlighted the sacrifices made for peace and stressed the importance of unity in achieving the return of displaced Tigrayans, liberation of those under “invaders,” and ensuring Tigray’s sovereignty.
He acknowledged the value of peace and the high cost of war. President Reda pointed to Tigray’s recent history as a reminder of the importance of peace.
The message emphasized that lasting peace, justice, and equality are essential for ensuring the safety and interests of all Ethiopians.
President Reda concluded his message by calling on all followers of the Christian faith to embrace Easter in a spirit of peace, love, and compassion. He urged them to work together for the revival of Tigray and to create a better future for generations to come.
