Borena Zone, Ethiopia – A protest erupted yesterday in Hidilola town, Mio district, Borena zone, following the death of a young man at the hands of security forces on Tuesday night.
Residents reported that the protest began on Wednesday in response to the killing.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
According to the Mio District Police Department of Borena Zone, the militia members involved in the killing have been apprehended and are currently under investigation
