Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – A delegation from South Korea visited Ethiopia this week to discuss further collaboration in the health sector.
The group, representing development organizations including the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH), met with Ethiopian health officials to plan joint projects.
A key commitment emerged from the visit includes KOFIH pledged to construct a National Medical Equipment Repair Center at Alert Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, marks a significant step towards improving healthcare infrastructure and reducing reliance on external repairs.
Beyond the equipment center, KOFIH and other Korean organizations expressed their willingness to support pediatric care and other areas prioritized by the Ethiopian Ministry of Health. Their commitment builds upon a long history of successful collaboration between the two countries.
