Senior government officials, including Transport and Logistics Minister Dr. Alemu Sime and Government Communication Services Minister Dr. Leges Tulu, arrived in Semera today to lead public discussions on achieving lasting peace and universal prosperity.
The visit marks the launch of a nationwide initiative titled “United National Brotherhood and Sisterhood for Lasting Peace and Universal Prosperity.” Public discussions will be held in 20 cities across Ethiopia, aimed at fostering dialogue and unity among citizens.
Dr. Sme and Dr. Tulu were welcomed at Sultan Ali Mirah Hanfre Airport by regional leaders.
Public forums will be held in both Semera and Asaita within the Afar Region, with discussions planned for 20 other cities tomorrow.
This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to promoting national unity and addressing community concerns.
The public discussions offer a platform for citizens to engage in open dialogue and contribute to building a more prosperous and peaceful Ethiopia.
