In the championship athlete Tsige Duguma won the gold medal in the women’s 800m race with a time of 2:01.90.
In the women’s 1,500 meter final, Freweini Hailu won the gold medal with a time of 4:01.46.
At the 19th World Indoor Championships, Ethiopia won 2 gold, 1 bronze and 1 silver medals in total and finished 1st in Africa and 5th in the world.
