Ethiopia’s Defense Minister Abraham Belay met with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah during the 8th Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2024) held in Doha, Qatar.
Their discussions focused on strengthening bilateral defense cooperation and exploring avenues for further collaboration between their respective defense establishments. The meeting aimed to enhance strategic military alignments between the two countries.
Qatar’s Military Attaché to Ethiopia, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Ali Al Hajri, and other senior defense officials from both nations were also present at the high-level talks.
