The US Department of State’s Assistant Secretary for Population, Migration and Refugees, Juliet Valls Noyes, will travel to Ethiopia and Chad next week, according to the information obtained from the State Department.
The assistant secretary is expected to talk to senior government officials from both countries, representatives of international organizations, non-governmental organizations, as well as American partners about resettling migrants, protecting humanitarian workers from danger, and the promises we made at the international migration forum last year.
It is known that during their visit to Chad, they will focus on the humanitarian situation in the country and the response of the Chadian government and international institutions to the crisis in Sudan.
