African Leadership Academy and UN Join Forces to Build Leadership for Sustainable Development

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia –  The African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) and the United Nations (UN) in Ethiopia announced a new partnership today, signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on achieving sustainable development goals in Africa.


The agreement focuses on the collaboration aims to develop new leaders and enhance the skills of existing professionals working towards development goals includes civil servants and other key figures, the partnership encourages diverse ideas and dialogue to address challenges and create solutions.


AFLEX will design and implement programs to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to a prosperous Africa.
Zadig Abraha said, “This agreement strengthens leadership education in Africa and creates the capacity for competent leaders.”
Dr. Ramiz Alakbarov, UN Chief Representative in Ethiopia on his behalf said, “We will work on empowering leaders and building skills needed for vision-oriented professionals.”


Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative: “The academy plays a major role in spreading Pan-Africanism. This agreement holds great potential for achieving the African vision.”
This collaboration signifies a significant step towards building a stronger and more sustainable future for Africa through leadership development and collective action.
