Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – Mayor Adanech Abebe hailed the 37th African Union Summit as a resounding success, commending the efforts of various groups in ensuring a “peaceful, effective, vibrant, and beautiful” event.
In a social media message, Mayor Abebe expressed her gratitude to individuals who played crucial roles in the summit’s smooth operation.
She singled out those who beautified the city’s roads, enhancing Addis Ababa’s welcoming atmosphere, provided exceptional service and Ethiopian hospitality to guests throughout the summit, and maintained city security and ensured the peaceful completion of the event, highlighting the contributions of law enforcement and residents.
“Together, we showcased the best of Addis Ababa and Ethiopia to the world,” Mayor Abebe concluded. “This successful summit marks a significant moment for our city and continent, and I am proud of the collaborative spirit that made it possible.”
