A panel discussion exploring the link between regional peace and solidarity, and sustainable economic integration in Africa, is currently underway in Addis Ababa.
The Ethiopian News Agency convened the event today, in collaboration with the Ministry of Peace and Ethiopian Electric Power. The theme, “Regional Peace and Solidarity for Sustainable Economic Integration,” brought together prominent figures for a focused discussion.
Attendees included Peace Minister Binalf Andualem, members of the House of People’s Representatives, Ethiopian Electric Power CEO Engineer Ashebir Balcha, State Trade and Regional Integration Minister Fiseha Yitagesu, and other esteemed guests.
Presentations explored the role of regional peace and cooperation in fostering a strong economic foundation for Africa. Discussions will delve into the geopolitical landscape of East Africa, with a particular focus on Ethiopia’s contribution to regional peace and stability.
The event will also highlight Ethiopia’s commitment to “African solutions for African problems,” and its ongoing efforts to promote peace on both continental and regional levels.
This panel discussion follows a series of successful events organized by ENA, addressing critical national and continental issues.
