Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – In a move strengthening educational ties between Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Addis Ababa University (AAU) and Mwene Dittu University today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlining their commitment to collaborate on various academic endeavors.


The agreement, officially signed by AAU’s Acting President Dr. Samuel Kfele and Mwene Dittu University’s President Prof. Shibangu Muamba Innocent, paves the way for joint efforts inBoth institutions will develop and deliver long- and short-term training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and expertise of their staff and students.


 This includes potential joint research projects, faculty exchange programs, and student exchange opportunities.


The universities will establish channels for exchanging academic materials, research findings, and best practices.
The signing ceremony underscored the commitment of both universities to ensure the successful implementation of the MoU. This collaboration is expected to foster academic excellence, promote cross-cultural understanding, and contribute to the advancement of higher education in both Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
