Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – The Adama Industrial Park in Ethiopia has reached full occupancy, with all 19 production sheds leased to investors from various countries, according to the Industrial Parks Development Corporation.

The park, which began operations in October 2018, has attracted investment from Norway, China, India, the United States, and Ethiopia, primarily focused on apparel and garment production for export.

This full occupancy has resulted in the creation of over 7,000 jobs, according to Aklilu Tadesse, CEO of the Industrial Parks Development Corporation.

He confirmed the news during a visit to the park yesterday by Ramiz Alakbarov, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Coordinator.

The Adama Industrial Park, located on 120 hectares of land, is a testament to Ethiopia’s growing industrial sector and its potential to create jobs and attract foreign investment.
